Aloha! When you arrive in the Hawaiian Islands you are greeted with a lovely fragrant flower lei made out of the Plumeria flower and a warm greeting of Aloha. Right now it is below zero and snowing as I work on this pattern which makes me long for tropical weather, so I put some tropical music on and imagined the smell of Plumeria in the air, the feel of the warm trade winds blowing, and the sounds of the waves crashing around me as I designed and painted this project. Why not paint this tropical inspired project to rest your tablet on to remind you of the Aloha Spirit.
This project is so quick and easy to paint using stippling and wash techniques for the bulk of the project with lots of bling to add to the general effect. This pattern comes with 4 photos showing details of various stages of the project.
I love this project and have been using it to rest my tablet on since it was finished. Just looking at it makes me think warm thoughts. The wooden tablet holder is available from Patty Rawlinson at Creative Lifestyles www.creativelifestyles.com
